Visual Illusion

This spell creates an area of light-based images only. The illusion may move inside the area without direction from the shaper, but as a Zero Phase Action the shaper may move the target area of the illusion anywhere within range.

Lightblast

The shaper creates a very bright blast of hardlight that shocks the target’s system. In addition to the blinding effect of Flash, this spell causes STUN equal to the amount rolled on the dice.

Common Modifiers

• Does STUN Damage (The total amount rolled on the dice equals STUN damage vs. ED; +1/4)
• Perceivable (-1/4)

Armor of Light

The shaper binds ambient light to the target’s body, deepening her shadows and intensifying her highlights. When the target is struck a burst of light blinds the attacker.

Lightburst

The shaper creates a burst of light that blinds all targets in the area.

Adaptive Vision

The target gains the ability to see in total darkness, in the infrared spectrum, in ultraviolet light, and more. At its highest level of effect, the subject can see through any form of darkness, including the Darkness power.

Darkness

This spell absorbs all light in the target area, making it opaque to all senses in the Sight Group.

Maze

The target of this spell has all of its senses assaulted, and if the spell is successful the target no longer has the ability to interact with reality. A target makes Breakout Rolls using INT at the start of its next action, -1 per 5 points the effect roll exceeded the target’s INT+30. While the target is in this state, it is at 1/2 DCV and all Hit Location penalties are halved against it.
